Well we had Marcus Cooper and Tramon Williams, so Marcus Williams was the natural next step.

Great balls skills, AND can tackle.

This guy is going to be All-Pro.

.....wait, unless, it is no ball skills and cannot tackle. ......I just made myself sad

I'm more interested in what our new head coach can do with Brandon Williams. Going into his third season and with a coach who is supposed to be a DB whisperer he should be able to play at a decent level this year. The guy has the raw talent just didn't have the experience. It's time for him to step up this year.

That would be great if he could step up be be more than a backup/Special teamer. Benwikere and marcus Williams and Brandon Williams all contributing sure would be good.CB across from PP wouldn`t be a blackhole that QBs exploit easily.

So what you are saying is that if the league allows us to play two extra guys at corner back, we have a chance :)

It feels good to bring in another cornerback. Can't say much of anything else.

Veterans OTAs completed but no peep about Brandon Williams. At it's conclusion they sign Marcus Williams, a CB. you connect the dots

The less we are forced to draft by position the better. This team needs probably two years of upgrades. We keep drafting for need and getting burned.

Take the best guy available, not the guy who is replacing a starter next year

There was an interview with Wilks on the Cards site where he said he likes what he has seen on tape with BW.

SO the plan is to have a CB by committee with guys rotating in and out so the opposition never knows who is in at any time. Maybe we have a run CB for early downs and a pass CB for passing situations.
