I did watch Xavier Williams. He was a solid rotational iDL. But he hasn't been good for a while. Which is what I said.

Maybe he was better with Cards, due to coaching???? We'll see how it goes this time around.

Golden Watt Philips Atkins Jones

That would be sweet.
Atkins would likely be a 50-60 % snap guy, mostly in passing situations IMO. I think that he would offer value and honestly, with an older vet heavy front, the larger the rotation the better. The only younger players he would potentially impact would be Zach Allen or Dogbe. I think Fotu fits on running downs every well and Lawrence is more of a NT option and less of a pass rusher.

JJWatt
Jordan Phillips
Leki Fotu
Zach Allen
Rashad Lawrence

is kinda the room right now. Atkins makes some sense if you want Watt at DE in even fronts because it gives you another interior rusher ala Phillips. One thing to consider is that Fotu had decent pressure rates for an inexperienced first year player and Allen doubled his pressures from the previous year. I don't know how much that should be taken into consideration but it is worth mentioning.

I will also say that if Leki Fotu connects with Watt, oh boy.
