If they were smart they would get out before 26-29 while they can still walk and think clearly. This sport has gotten just way too brutal and is just insane to put your body through weekly. Some of the hits from yesterday were enough to advocate to put a stop to it all. No one's body was built for that punishment, even once, much less weekly over and over. It's really insane now, not even considering what we have learned recently about long term brain damage.
I was in an horrific car accident two months ago and was hit from behind by a truck going full speed on the highway when I had already stopped. My body was flung back and forward like a rag doll several times and I could tell for weeks afterward, and even still, that my brain got damaged from the violent shaking. That is nothing to what these football players go through on Sundays. It is just crazy.
By the way, did you see the blank look on Wilson's face after he tried to run on a play yesterday and was slammed to the turf on his head once. Just holding up a still photo of that blank expression is enough to say stop this idiocy.
