If it’s fair to criticize him for a quarter of the 2021 season and whatever portion of the 2022 season that he played in, then it’s equally fair to credit him for 2019, 2020, and 3/4 of 2021, that would result in OROY, and 2 pro bowl selections. And I agree that he needs to play some this year, knock off the initial rust, and give the coaching staff the opportunity to evaluate him moving forward in their system.Kyler is who he was until proven otherwise. That is on him.
Hard to defend his actions/performance in 2nd half of 2021, the playoff game, the offseason, new contract with something I am not supposed to say anymore included, and then major regression in 2022.
The best thing for this team is for him to turn it around (mentally and physically) and be a consistent franchise QB.
