The North Carolina Tar Heels began Atlantic Coast Conference play on a good note Tuesday night with a double-digit win over Florida State at home. After some struggles early in the first half, UNC used a few runs in the game to grab the lead and really never looked back.

A big reason why the Tar Heels were able to pull ahead and get the win was the play of freshman Caleb Wilson.

He finished with 22 points, 16 rebounds, six assists, and two blocks. He also threw down a big dunk in the middle of a run in the second-half to help spark the Tar Heels. While doing so, Wilson also made some history for the Tar Heels.

He became the first freshman in program history to score 20-plus points in six-straight games:

That's an impressive feat at any program. But to do so at North Carolina, a program with a rich history that includes players like Michael Jordan, Vince Carter, Antawn Jamison, Sean May, Tyler Hansbrough and more over the years.

Wilson continues to play at a high level and is one of the best freshmen in the country this season. As the season goes on, he continues to play better and prove his draft stock as a future lottery pick.
