When Angel Reese made her LSU Tigers homecoming in the Chicago Sky's preseason game against the Brazil women's national team on Friday, only 6,373 fans attended the contest.

It was a rather disappointing turnout for one of the school's most popular alumna, especially since the Pete Maravich Assembly Center has a capacity of 13,215.

To make matters worse for Reese, her rival, Caitlin Clark, showed her star power and massive draw against the same opponents. When Clark and her Indiana Fever played Brazil at the Carver-Hawkeye Arena on Sunday, it was a sellout.

The arena was filled to its 14,998 capacity, according to Scott Agnes of Fieldhouse Files.

What's even more amazing about the sellout is the fact that the tickets for Caitlin Clark's Iowa return were incredibly expensive.

In fact, according to an earlier report, the game had an average ticket price of $670, which is the highest for any WNBA game since 2015.

Fortunately for fans, Clark and the Fever didn't disappoint during the game. Not only did they beat Brazil, but they did so in blowout fashion.

The Fever won 108-44, with Clark leading the way with 16 points, six rebounds and five assists in just 19 minutes of action. Kelsey Mitchell top-scored for Indiana with 17 points on 5-of-8 shooting.

Indiana also did great defensively, holding Brazil to under 50 points and not allowing anyone from the team to score in double digits.

Next up for the Fever are the Atlanta Dream, whom they will face on Saturday at The Gateway Center Arena @ College Park. sure enough, it will be interesting to see how big of a crowd the game draws.

As for Angel Reese and the Sky, they return to action against the Minnesota Lynx on Wednesday for another preseason game.
