Bucs fans are excited for the 2025 season for a variety of reasons, namely the offense being loaded up once again and led by Baker Mayfield. They will also be led by a new offensive coordinator for the third straight year after losing theirs for the second straight year.

First, it was Dave Canales, then it was Liam Coen, but now, a promoted Josh Grizzard will take over the playcalling in 2025, and the excitement goes beyond the fans. Players like Mike Evans are even excited to see how their new coordinator will have the offense looking.

"Josh – Coach 'Grizz' is… Last year, we talked a lot, but he didn't talk as much in groups, and he does a really great job of talking in front of everybody. We didn't get to see that last year, but he's a really great coach, and I look forward to having a great season for him."

Grizzard was with the Bucs in 2024 as his first season in a passing game coordinator role. In that role, Baker Mayfield set career highs across the board, and now the team is excited to see what he can do as he leads the entire defense.

Before being in Tampa Bay, Grizzard made stops with the Dolphins and Panthers, with stops in the college ranks as well.
