The Milwaukee Bucks' playoff hopes took a heavy blow on Sunday night. Facing the Indiana Pacers at Fiserv Forum, the Bucks suffered a crushing 129-103 defeat in Game 4. Giannis Antetokounmpo tried to keep the fight alive, finishing with 28 points, 15 rebounds, and six assists. But the night was overshadowed by a devastating injury to Damian Lillard early in the first quarter.

Lillard, who had just returned from a blood clot in his calf, collapsed while chasing an offensive rebound. He immediately grabbed his left calf and Achilles area. Helped off the floor by Bucks coach and staff, Lillard couldn't put any weight on his left leg.

The team later announced he would not return, labeling it a 'lower left leg injury.' Reports have since indicated fears of a torn Achilles tendon, a major setback that could sideline him for an extended period.

"You see your teammate being down and your first thought is, 'Come on, get up, get up, get up,'" Giannis said. "When you see a guy like Dame not able to walk on his own, you know this might be serious."

The Bucks star emphasized Lillard's competitive spirit and desire to be there for the team.

"He wants to play in big games. He wants to help the team win," Antetokounmpo added.

As of now, Lillard is set to undergo an MRI, but Bucks head coach Doc Rivers admitted the situation 'is not very promising.'

Lillard left the arena on crutches, wearing a walking boot, a worrying sign for Milwaukee's playoff future. Depending on the MRI results, he could miss months, effectively ending his postseason.
