The Cleveland Browns snapped a three-game losing streak to get back in the win column on Sunday, and did so in dominant fashion, taking down a reeling Miami Dolphins team, 31-6.
The Browns haven't won a game by that much in some time, with their last win by a margin of 25-or-more points coming nearly two full years ago in a 27-0 victory over the Cardinals (Week 9 of the 2023 season). The Browns' offense struggled, certainly, averaging just 3.9 yards per play and converting just four-of-11 third-down opportunities, but it didn't matter, as the defense put up its most dominating performance yet this season. Four takeaways by Cleveland, three of which came in the second half, appropriately summed up the kind of day they allowed the Dolphins to have on offense.
With the win, the Browns improved to 2-5 on the season. Let's take a look at how Browns fans are reacting to Sunday's blowout victory.
First and foremost, getting back into the win column is a good feeling for Browns fans. The Browns came into Sunday's game coming off of their worst performance of the year on both sides of the football in a humiliating loss in Pittsburgh, so showing the ability to beat up on a Dolphins team with similarly-ugly vibes at this point in the year is a sign that maybe there's some fight left in this team, after all.
After a down week against the Steelers, the Browns defense was back to its early-season form in Week 7. Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa had an ugly day, so much so that he was pulled for rookie Quinn Ewers in the fourth quarter after throwing an interception each to Tyson Campbell, Rayshawn Jenkins, and Ronnie Hickman. The pass-rush recorded four combined sacks on Tagovailoa and Ewers.
There was one clear standout on Cleveland's offense against Miami: rookie running back Quinshon Judkins. It wasn't the most efficient day for the Ohio State product, as he totaled 84 yards on a season-high 25 carries, but the trio of touchdowns he scored -- including a 46-yarder that gave the Browns their first lead of the day -- were key in powering the 31-6 win. The Browns have a star in the making in the backfield.

The second win of the season
First and foremost, getting back into the win column is a good feeling for Browns fans. The Browns came into Sunday's game coming off of their worst performance of the year on both sides of the football in a humiliating loss in Pittsburgh, so showing the ability to beat up on a Dolphins team with similarly-ugly vibes at this point in the year is a sign that maybe there's some fight left in this team, after all.
The Miami Dolphins are SO BAD that they are making the Browns look like a competent team #DawgPoundpic.twitter.com/di8Pi12GK6

Stefanski keeps his job for another week… The run game was solid, super conservative in the passing game again, but the defense is what won today’s game.
Fantastic stuff from the defense.#Browns#DawgPoundpic.twitter.com/nDVuFMYkey

Quinshon Judkins
There was one clear standout on Cleveland's offense against Miami: rookie running back Quinshon Judkins. Quinshon Judkins is the only good thing about this team. what a beast
— Jordan Zirm (@JordanZirm) October 19, 2025
Great TEAM win today!! With that being said, I’m still not sold. Especially with our offense! We got the W so I think will buy Gabriel some more time but this wasn’t his win. It was definitely Judkins!

Judkins announcing his presence in the NFL today. Love to see Buckeye stars become Browns stars! #DawgPound

Lowkey…I think Quinshon Judkins got some revenge on Minkah for Nick Chubb right there.#DawgPound
