The Denver Broncos are bringing at least five linebackers to rookie minicamp this week -- two undrafted free agent signees and at least three tryout players.
The team's two UDFA additions are JB Brown (Kansas) and Karene Reid (Utah).
Brown (not to be confused with the former NFL defensive back J.B. Brown), played college football at Kansas, totaling 74 tackles (10 behind the line), five sacks, two pass breakups and one forced fumble last fall. Brown (6-2, 230 pounds) earned All-Big 12 honorable mention honors in 2024.
Reid (6-0, 226 pounds) recorded 54 tackles (six behind the line), three sacks, one pass breakup and one fumble recovery at Utah last fall. He was a two-time All-Pac-12 selection in college.
Denver is also bringing in three tryout linebackers: Jordan Turner (Michigan State), Mekhail Sherman (Nebraska) and LaVonta Bentley (Colorado).
The tryout LBs will aim to impress this weekend with hopes of being added to the 90-man offseason roster ahead of organized team activities later this month.
