What an awesome tourney. Spain, Brasil, Mexico, & Italy. I hope Mexico can represent Concacaf honorably.

My choice is Spain though. With it taking place in South America, I am sure there will be many who say that a team from Europe has not shot. But until they lose, they are my pick.

Totally. Mexico is clearly the best team in the region. Still would have been nice to play in the tournament regardless.

I'm pulling for Japan. I think they have a real sleepers chance to qualify in that group.

confed cups are the most worthless and ridiculous "tournaments" out there, nobody needs that and the top teams and players once again won't be happy to have to play that

What team would want to have experience playing in Brazil one year before the World Cup? Worthless indeed.

Great start for Brasil, who beat Japan 3-0 to open up the tourney.

Neymar's golazo:

To me that was hand ball. That was off of Fred's arm to Neymar. Great goal nonetheless.

Easily the best game of the tourney. Japan was definitely unlucky to not win that game. They were the better team on the pitch that night. I really look forward to seeing them in the WC next year.

This was also one of the worst ref performances you will see. Three very light penalties, fouls missed, corners missed, etc.
