If you have $97,000 lying around the house somewhere, you too, could have bought a Bo Nix rookie card that's in mint condition.
Most people, of course, don't have that kind of change in the couch cushions, but one big Denver Broncos fan did as they bought a 2024 Prizm Nix card for $97,600 at Goldin's May Elite Auction.
It's an impressive amount for any NFL card, but considering Nix is entering just his second year of his NFL career, the price tag is even more so.
Nix had a really good rookie season, and he has really settled down the fears of the Broncos organization, where the quarterback position is concerned. It's been a revolving door at quarterback ever since Payton Manning left the Mile High City.
The former Oregon signal caller started all 17 games last season in Denver, where he completed 66.3 percent of his passes, good for 3,775 yards and 29 touchdowns with just 12 interceptions. There's no reason to believe Nix won't significantly improve this year for the Broncos, which would make this card worth even more money in the coming years.
