North Carolina defensive coordinator Steve Belichick's wife, Jennifer Belichick, posted a scathing comment regarding head coach Bill Belichick's 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson's reported meltdown during a CBS interview.
According to TMZ.com, Hudson "repeatedly butted" into Bill's interview on "CBS Mornings." Things got so bad that Hudson reportedly "stormed out of the room" at one point, pausing the shooting for the segment for half an hour.
Some came to the defense of Hudson on social media, supporting her as Bill's publicist, but Jennifer wasn't having it.
“Publicists act in a professional manner and don’t ‘storm’ off set delaying an interview,” Jennifer posted on social media, via Daily Mail.
Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio confirmed on Thursday that the comment was posted by Jennifer Belichick.
Former three-time Patriots Super Bowl champion Ted Johnson believes North Carolina should consider firing Bill as the head coach. The legendary linebacker questioned whether the six-time Super Bowl-winning head coach was of a sound mind to coach football.
“I think the Carolina Tar Heels should consider firing Bill Belichick," Johnson said on "WEEI Afternoons Tuesday." "They should consider letting him go at this point. ...I just think, just what you've seen so far. The behaviors with Jordon, that dynamic, her being on the football field, her kind of just, I think, embarrassing Bill.
"People want to go, ‘Well, she's taking control of Bill.’ You think Bill doesn't have any say in how these things go? Of course he does. He's okay with what she's doing."
Bill has yet to even coach a game at the collegiate level, and there is already more talk about him off the field than ever before.
