Calijah Kancey....PITT

he explosion is just one element of an impressive athletic package possessed by the 2023 NFL Draft prospect. Kancey showcases incredibly quick feet, which allow for ludicrous lateral agility. The Pitt DT routinely demonstrates incredible movement skills for a 275-pound man. As a result, he can effortlessly transition from attacking one gap to another. Meanwhile, he’s been able to loop around and attack off the edge due to his high-level athletic ability.Another element of his body control is remarkable balance. One upside of being a 6’0″, 275-pound DT is that Kancey displays an excellent low center of gravity. Burly but athletic interior tackle who plays with a strong desire to get past the man in front of him. Bresee rarely gets caught up in long block engagements and possesses a deep anchor to battle double teams. He operates with subtle hand fighting that helps puts pressure on blockers but currently lacks the rush sophistication and shed technique to make more plays in the backfield. If he can stay healthy and gain much-needed experience, Bresee should continue to progress at his position and become a good run defender with an ability to disrupt the pocket within his first few NFL seasons.
