The Cincinnati Bengals announced Friday that they signed unrestricted free-agent guard Lucas Patrick to a one-year deal.
The Bengals reportedly hosted Patrick for a visit earlier this week.
Patrick, 31, has played guard and center during his eight NFL seasons. He played in 11 games last season for the New Orleans Saints, starting 10. He did not play in the Saints' final two games of the season because of a knee injury.
Patrick played the previous two seasons for the Chicago Bears, starting 20 of the 23 games in which he played. He played in 73 games over his first five NFL seasons for the Green Bay Packers.
The Packers signed Patrick, who played college football at Duke, as an undrafted free agent in 2016.
The Enquirer's Kelsey Conway reported earlier this month that the Bengals were interested in free-agent guard Teven Jenkins. Jenkins remains unsigned.
