The Cincinnati Bengals fared well during the 2025 NFL schedule release.
Bengals fans might not look too kindly on the primetime lineup for the team, nor will some tough stretches be popular. But it's the type of schedule that presents some wide-open opportunities to go on streaks and for Joe Burrow's squad to prove last year was indeed marred by a few fluky outcomes.
Here's a look at some quick takeaways from the initial Bengals schedule.
If the Bengals under Zac Taylor finally find a way to start a season with any sort of pulse, the early slate is simple enough. Beating Cleveland and Jacksonville over the first two weeks would be a nice way to surge into much tougher matchups. That's important because...
In Week 13, the Bengals play the Ravens on Thanksgiving. They follow that up with a road trip to play the Bills. The week after? A rematch with the Ravens in Cincinnati. It's a brutal, messy time. Joe Burrow could win an MVP during that stretch...or the season could go off the rails.

The lack of love for the Bengals in primetime games when it comes to actually hosting them remains. Three of the four primetime games this year are on the road. Once again, they have to play the Ravens on the road on a short week for a Thursday game, too.
On the other end of that, though, is the fact the Bengals get to play three straight home games before the bye week and two more straight home games to end the season. Not traveling for 30-plus days around the bye is a good time to get healthy. Staying home for two in a row before a possible playoff berth is great, too.
