The Cincinnati Bengals have drafted Georgia Bulldogs offensive lineman Dylan Fairchild with the No. 81 pick in the 2025 NFL draft. The 6-foot-5, 315-pound offensive guard reunites with his former Georgia teammate Amarius Mims on Cincinnati's offensive line.
Fairchild was named as a second-team AP All-American in 2024. He brings a significant amount of starting experience to the Bengals. Fairchild is known for being an excellent pass blocker, so he could help protect star Cincinnati quarterback Joe Burrow.
Fairchild started in 24 games over his final two seasons at Georgia (primarily at left guard). After Fairchild was drafted, former Alabama head coach Nick Saban praised Fairchild's pass protection ability and likes his ability to finish the play. He was not as complementary on Fairchild as a run blocker, but the NFL is a passing league.
"Congrats Dylan Fairchild!!" said Georgia coach Kirby Smart. "What an awesome experience it has been to have you with us. So proud of you and all you’ve accomplished here. Thank you for always bringing effort, toughness and energy. The Bengals got a great one. GO DAWGS!"
