Ball Used By Tyrese Haliburton to Hit Buzzer-Beater in NBA Finals Sells at Auction originally appeared on Athlon Sports.

The Indiana Pacers, specifically Tyrese Haliburton, had more than their fair share of iconic moments in the 2025 NBA playoffs.

From hitting Reggie Miller's "choke" pose in Madison Square Garden, beating the Cleveland Cavaliers after a massive comeback, and eliminating the Milwaukee Bucks on a last-second layup, Haliburton dazzled in every series.

His best moment, perhaps, came in Game 1 of the NBA Finals, where the Pacers crawled back, erasing a 15-point Oklahoma City Thunder lead and capping it off with a game-winner over Cason Wallace.

It was the biggest shot in Indiana Pacers' history, and the ball was recently put up for auction by Sotheby's, selling for $12,700.

"It wasn’t just a win—it was a statement," wrote the auction house. "The shot showed the world the Pacers weren’t just happy to be on the big stage- they were a threat to win it all."

Haliburton missed only two clutch shots in the entire playoffs, shedding his "most overrated" label earned months prior.

Game-worn jerseys from players from both teams were also for sale, although the ball was perhaps the coolest piece of Pacers' merchandise from the series, even with them falling short.

With Haliburton out for all of next season with a torn Achilles, the Pacers are going to take a step back, perhaps missing the postseason entirely, although the magic of their run last season continues to capture hearts and line the pockets of some of the more fanatical collectors.
