dunno

I got to beleive Horton diidn't want them, already has better scoped out! I like Reggie Walker, Don't know why just took a liking to him as a rookie #55.

I like Me Some Sherman, I think He will be a great FB, I wanna see him run it a bit too. Crazy run it!

Hope Tally can play OLB?

Originally signed with the Green Bay Packers as a rookie free agent on 5/1/09. Released by the Packers and re-signed to the practice squad on 9/6/09, where he spent the remainder of the season. Re-signed to a future contract by the Packers on 1/11/10 before being released following training camp on 9/4/10. Signed to the Cardinals practice squad on 11/9/10 and signed to a future contract by Arizona on 1/6/11.

Yeah it looks exactly like the depth chart they've always had on azcardinals.com except for the two guys injured: RWilliams and Toler.

And who the heck is Ronald Talley?

They cut Togafau???

I laughed about this for a solid minute. Well done, sir.

I'd also like to add that Maui'a played well enough to make the team. He was an understandable victim of the numbers game, but he should catch on somewhere else.

I like the graphics as well. It seems to make some order out of things that are sure to change.

2010 1 Dan Williams (Starter)
2 Daryl Washington (Starter)
3 Andre Roberts (Starter)
4 O'Brien Schofield (Starter) Not a starter
5 John Skelton (Back-up)
6 Jorrick Calvin (Traded)
7 Jim Dray (Back-up)
2009 1 Chris Wells (Starter)
2 Cody Brown (Bust)
3 Rashad Johnson (Back-up)
4 Greg Toler (Would be Starter)
5 Herman Johnson (No longer with team)
6 Will Davis (Cut today)
7 LaRod Stephens-Howling (3rd down back)
8 Trevor Canfield (No longer with team)
2008 1 Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (Traded for our possible QBOF)
2 Calais Campbell (Starter)
3 Early Doucet (Starter) Clearly not a starter, in that he's not starting
4 Kenny Iwebema (Cut today)
5 Timothy Hightower (Traded)
6 Christopher Harrington (No longer with team)
7 Brandon Keith (Starter)
2007 1 Levi Brown (Starter)
2 Alan Branch (No longer with team)
3 Buster Davis (Bust)
4 Steve Breaston (Lost in free agency)
5 Ben Patrick (No longer with team)

I personally don't feel terrible about this. Obviously there are a few questionable picks, but there are also some greats ones. And I count 6 starters from the 07-09 drafts, Wells, Toler (hurt), Campbell, Doucet, Keith and Brown. Obviously considering Doucet our #3 wide out a starter. As well as DRC being traded away this yr for our possible QBOF.

Personally I feel like our last 2 drafts should make us even more optimistic as I feel we have continued to improve come draft day and made some solid picks not just on need but value.

we had 6

it was 07 or 08 that Whiz kept 6 TE's. Like i said i gotta beleive they they feel they can upgrade the weak positions, We need 2nd string OLBs that have developmental potential.

Porter has spot duty in the tank, Haggins is past his prime on the decline, If we find DE conversions FA's we need to snag them, Will Davis, Obrien,
I'm still watching for prospects.

Cut 2 TE's for a CB and SS hopefully???? Or another RB? Who the hell has 5 TE's on 1 roster

My initial reaction is this is just plain foolishness, Whiz style.

4 OLBers---not a bona fide pass rusher among them.

4 CBs---one coming off an injury

4 Ss---one trying to play with a torn bicep

10 healthy OLBers, CBs and Ss...and

11 TEs and WRs combined.

Way to take care of your new DC, Whiz. Way to go.

No wonder he can't get into the reasons.

This is why we need an assertive GM who understands how to build a roster.

There had better be 4-5 additions, 4 of which are defensive players---or this is going to take the cake.

Ken Whisenhunt made it clear, before even taking a question, what Friday’s cuts down to the required 53-man roster for the regular season meant.

“The one thing I’ll say is that it’s written in pencil for right now,” Whisenhunt said. “This will not be the 53-man roster that we have to play Carolina next week."

“Obviously there is still maneuvering to be done yet.”

I hope that actually means we'll pursue good quality players...I'm cautiously optimistic, but still have lingering doubts that we won't go after the BPA.

Why wouldn't they pursue good quality players?

May not get them, but that's certainly what they'll attempt to do.

It will be BPA at position of need.

I see 3 of the best teams in the league there so what's you're point. Comparing us to 3 of the best makes no sense. I just said I felt like we were middle of the pack and improving. And by the way LHS is #1 on the depth chart @ KR so I guess he could be considered a starter as well. And Doucet and Schofield are two players I think will be starters for week 1. Have the starters been named yet? Didn't think so.

Thats a good question, I've been wanting to ask Graves that for a while. He seems to prefer the 35 year old washed up players lol

Thats just wrong

Didn't have an OC or DC either!

skelton was a QB, Maybe?

Man this is where Horton Must make his Mark, His career will depend on who He keeps, gets and developes. I feel for the Rookie DC, Hope He has some strong connections and supports.

The rst of this staff knows about about defense as Chris Miller knows about coaching QB's.

Of the 11 DBs from last year four are gone and three are injured. And that graphic is wrong it should say 0 under QBs for 2010.

Fellas chill! We're not going to find a starting OLB that can assimilate into Horton's defense by Wk1 unless their name is Harrison or Woodley and none of those types will be cut. It has to be a trade & who do we give up? You might as well get comfortable with Porter and Haggins until next year. Just hope that Schohawk & Achoman can pass them on the depth chart once they pick up the D.

And thats exactly the point...we keep trying to add lower round OLB talent (outside of Brown) or neglecting the position. I keep hearing the same crap every year, every offseason & I'm still seeing very little production. The key IMO to making the 3-4 work is the OLB's, so either draft those guys or go back to a 4-3!!!
