HOOVER — Auburn baseball's SEC Tournament semifinal contest against Arkansas is in a holding pattern, as the grounds crew at the Hoover Metropolitan Complex pulled out the tarp at the midway point of the fourth inning, with the Tigers leading the Razorbacks 1-0.

It's the second time a contest has entered a delay Saturday, as Florida and Georgia's semifinal game was briefly paused late. The Bulldogs returned from their stoppage and completed a six-run comeback, beating the Gators 8-7 to advance to Sunday's championship game.

Auburn's already made some history in playing Arkansas today, reaching its first SEC Tournament semifinal since 2003. With a win, the Tigers would advance to their first SEC Tournament championship game since 1998.
