(Editor’s note: Doing this version a big upside down today, to address what is somewhat of an inverse answer-and-question format).

A: This is the answer to the questions that follow: It is one thing to say you would be willing to tolerate an indefinite period of losing, likely for years on end, to rebuild through the lottery. But are those who are calling for such also those who actually pay to go to the games or those willing to pay extra (such as Xfinity’s surcharge for the Heat’s FanDuel pay tier)?

In other words, talking the talk from the no-cost perspective of a keyboard is one thing, but anteing up by paying for season tickets or even game tickets or even cable/app premiums, is another.

It’s sort of like spending someone else’s money – “You go and stink. I’ll be somewhere else. And good luck with your revenue stream. But count me out.”

So: Would you actually be watching the games and paying for the games that you so want/wanted the Heat to lose?
