As we have 25 days until the draft and most of the key FA business seems to be done I thought it might be fun to do a consensus mock draft for each team and see who we have left at #23.

A pick a day would finish a couple of days before the draft.

Below is a list of teams needs according to the Mock Draft Database. Simply because it was the easiest one to copy, but it seems pretty accurate although possibly haven't been updated since FA so bear in mind any FA moves.

    • ARI Needs CB, EDGE, IOL, WR, DL, RB, OT
    • ATL Needs WR, EDGE, CB, S, QB, DL, RB
    • BAL Needs DL, OT, IOL, CB, EDGE, WR, LB
    • BUF Needs CB, DL, WR, IOL, RB, EDGE, LB

The Jags are on the Clock

Personally I can't see past Evan Neal. He's the surest thing in the draft for me and the Jags should be looking at the Bengals and learning that lesson. As a former QB and coming from Philly I think Pederson is big on getting the O line right before anything else. And the Jags O line sucks.

I want to say Jaguars trade out of this spot.....I just don't know what they are going to do.

Texans offer picks 3, 37, 68 for Jags 1.

Texans can probably get Icky or one of the top 2 Edge? Don't see why they would trade up?

With no great QBs I don't see any trades in the top 10.

Lol. Worst. Mock. Ever.

Maybe creating some rules or a poll or something would’ve made this actually work . . .

Any more suggestions for the Jags? So for Neal leads the way but not many voices.

I'm with Harry.

I don't see it. They have Allen obvs and they drafted K'Lavon Chaisson at #20 last year to play opposite him and he just started to look better at the end of last season after a rough start and they also signed Arden Key in FA.

The Detroit Lions are on the clock

Tough one. I think they go Edge because it's a big need and because of positional value for the #2. I think they would like to trade out but I don't see why anyone would want to trade up.

They play a 4-3 and Kayvon is 255 ish so I don't think he's a fit. Even Hutchinson at 260 is a bit undersized. Travon Walker at 272 is a better fit but he's just not worth that spot so I'm going with Aiden Hutchinson.

JAX has been telling people Hutchinson will not drop to DET at #2 so unless its a ploy to trade down I think its him. He would form a nice bookend to Josh Allen. Chaisson hasn't done much in 2 years so I don't think him being drafted 2 years ago prevents JAX taking Hutchinson #1.

Chaisson is the Isaiah Simmons of the pass rushers

This would be too easy. If Hutch doesn't go at 1, then some Lion will probably break a leg climbing over tables to turn in the Lion's card for him.
