Anticipation is that results of today’s tests will be back by tomorrow (use of Rutgers lab, within driving distance of Philadelphia, presumably helps expedite process). Determination then could be made on tomorrow night’s game.

Hearing there is growing talk within MLB that Tuesday’s NYY at Philly game will be called so the Yankees can get home today. Both clubs scheduled to play Wednesday and Thursday in The Bronx. As for the Marlins, there situation is up in the air.

The Baltimore Orioles are returning home from Miami tonight, sources tell ESPN, ensuring Tuesday's game won't be played at Marlins Park, either.

At some point, the healthy Marlins are expected to travel to Baltimore, where they were scheduled to play Wednesday and Thursday.

There will be additional priority testing for teams who have an outbreak, MLB officials say, but no serious talks as of yet cancelling or pausing the season. In the words of one owner on the conference call: "Obviously, the situation is fluid.''

Corey Kluber had an MRI on Sunday evening which determined he has a grade 2 tear of the teres major muscle in the back of his right shoulder. He will be shut down from throwing for a minimum of 4 weeks and will be placed on the IL.

Now ... it's important to understand that just because the Phillies' tests have come back clean today doesn't clear them. The incubation period for the coronavirus, per the CDC, is up to 14 days. No positives today doesn't mean there are no positives. A good initial sign, though.

Washington #Nats star Juan Soto is getting increasingly frustrated, his teammates say. He has reportedly tested negative six times_three by MLB and three by the team_but has not had back-to-back negative tests, keeping him out of action.

The #Mets have been in contact with free-agent catcher Bruce Maxwell for weeks, and per @timbhealey
, now have invited him to their alternate camp. He arrived in New York on Monday and they will sign him to deal once he passes a physical and tests negative for COVID-19.
