Carroll just chased a high fast ball a foot above the plate. He has to go down. Either in the lineup or preferably to triple A. McCarthy went down twice and he a better player. Thomas down twice and he is a better player. He has a .288 slugging and a 2-1 K to Walk and he is leading off for a MLB team.
I would have pitched to Seagar with a 2 run lead. Pfaadt has a tighter window now.

Dbacks are quickly sinking into the land of "irrelevance". Sad after last year's great run to the World Series.
The rangers are going through it as well. They are struggling this year. Part of it is youth and part of it is management refusing to add starting pitching and another bat.
