I'm loving the results with all the new guys.

The next couple of years should be a lot more fun!

This team is literally a below avg closer from being in the playoffs

Offseason: Trade Bum, Walker and maybe even Marte for BP help

Move one of the OF to 1B (Varsho?)

What does Stone have to do to get more ABs? Need some Righty Power/Production anyway

Hopefully Lawlar could be ready for SS

Who’s playing 1st and 2nd in your scenario?

C - Kelley
1B - Varsho
2B - Rojas
SS - Lawlar
3B - Rivera
LF - McCarthy
CF - Thomas
RF - Corbin
DH - Garrett

There would be reason for optimism at least!

I don’t see a need to trade either right now.

You think someone would trade to take on mad bum's contract with his downward spiral of production?

maybe, depends on what they get back? I would take almost nothing back to dump him. May consider taking on some salary for an asset. The Nelson kid 1st start was already better than 98% of the starts since Bum semi-retired cashing checks in AZ. Pretty sure most people are more interested in watching the home grown kids play than retreads of failed FA signings fail again and again

uhm cheaper and more talented replacements are in the pipeline who should be able to match their .240ish production. The BP is a dumpster fire and needs the $$$
Yes the bullpen is a dumpster fire.

Who’s in the pipeline that can hit 35 homeruns and 90 RBIs?

Walker still under club controls for two more years

McCarthy is caca in LF. He needs to be DHing.

Wow I knew McCarthy was caca in LF but a 0.87 range factor means it is really a bad idea to put him out there. Stone isn't good either and he is more than double

I'm not disagreeing that fans would prefer the home grown talent. I'm saying that with his contract (we owe him $40 mill over the next 2 years) and production, mad bum is radioactive. No one is touching him. We're stuck with him for another year

Hey, another blown save, this time it's Kennedy's turn.
