If Blaze plays third base last year, as well as he's playing this year, the Suarez DFA decision may have actually happened. I love that this kid has really worked hard to improve his game. His throwing arm is electric!

Right now he's at career high numbers in OBP and OPS
Good. The team needs him to have an above average bat in the lineup, especially since our current lineup is nearly half minor leaguers

I love Steve Berthiume. He talks as if the D-Backs can make a run to end the season despite the fact that this lineup has been decimated by trades and injuries.

Arizona's minor league team wins the series against Northern California's minor league team. But that is what is supposed to happen after a fire sale - let the youngsters play and prove they belong on the roster next year!

Reminds me of a couple of years ago, young team playing above themselves. Grinding out at bats, creating chaos on the bases and playing good defense.(and I know it’s just the A’s but it’s a start)

Anyone else notice how much trouble the As had with pop ups in the wind and it didn’t seem to bother the Dbacks at all. Small but I definitely noticed it.

That’s fair but it’s happened three or four times during this series . Kurtz and the catcher almost killed each other last night. Just seemed like there were quite a few plays where guys had to dive last minute to make a catch
