Suarez x-rays negative. Naylor hurt his shoulder during the game but stayed in for an inning or two

Fabulous job pitching by ERod

He's been trending, which means he must be ignoring everything Kaplan is saying...and Torey too of course. :)

I don't think we can excuse Kaplan here but yes he is pitching like I thought he would when we signed him. Love to see him attacking the zone

Sounds like he's 100% healthy and back in his flow. I'm still not all in on ERod and will retain a large measure of cynicism until I see him pitch into the 6th inning in a key game against the Dodgers, Padres, Giants, Cubs, Reds, Cardinals, Mets, Philly, Braves, or Brewers...

I mean he pitched in Boston against that murderers row of teams and was solid

Best start we have seen in a long while
Great start from Eduardo...would like him to be more consistent across starts instead of the Jekyll and Hyde results we've seen this year - it appears to be all or nothing with him. But I'll take the "all" tonight.

A 3-inning save in baseball occurs when a relief pitcher enters a game and pitches at least three innings, preserving the lead and finishing the game. It doesn't matter how big the lead is or whether the tying run is on base or not. This contrasts with a traditional save, which has specific conditions related to the lead size and the presence of the tying run

DBacks are only -125 against the "turrible" White Sox. News on Corbin was yet another nail in this year's coffin. Hovering around .500 will have to qualify as competitive for the DBacks this year.
