The Arizona Cardinals have not released their 2025 regular-season schedule yet, but we are beginning to get information about it.
According to Nick Underhill, who covers the New Orleans Saints, the Cardinals will face the Saints on the road in Week 1.
This will be the fifth time in the last six years the Cardinals open on the road.
This is perhaps the best-case scenario for the Cardinals to start the season with a potential win. The Saints are in a bit of disarray at quarterback. Derek Carr suffered a shoulder injury that would have cost him the entire 2025 season and decided to retire from the NFL.
They have a rookie head coach in Kellen Moore. They could have a rookie starting quarterback.
The Saints drafted Tyler Shough in the second round this year and will compete with Spencer Rattler and Jake Haener for the starting job.
Rattler went 0-6 as a starter as a rookie.
The Saints are not projected to very good in 2025.
The Cardinals and the rest of the NFL will release their full regular-season schedules today at 5 p.m. Arizona time.
