I think Sam Darnold is the current MVP and JSN is the current OPOY.

The game plan has to be all about them.

I think Josh Jacob’s as a stronger case for OPOY but overall I agree. Gotta rattle Darnold.

lmao what are you talking about??? Prior to last game (after SR voiced his opinion). MHJR had 2 catches vs Indy and 2 catches vs GB. Nothing got corrected until AFTER MHSR went to the media. If you didn’t see there was a purpose and plays called to get MHJR involved early because of this then you are even more lost in your posts than even I could think
I’m
Talking about the CONSTANT plays where Kyler and Marv are on two totally separate plays where the ball is going one way and Marv is going another. That IS what I’m talking about and those miscommunications have mysteriously disappeared since Kyler went to the bench.

I know you are heartbroken because your mentally and physically weak idol got beat out by a career backup, but try to keep up because you’re embarrassing yourself as much as Kyler has since the GB game 4 years ago.

Agreed, Darnold is looking to feed JSN. He’s averaging 10 targets a game. We actually held him to his fewest catches this year in week four when he only had 4 catches. And without that special teams decision at the end of the game perhaps we win that game.

They’ve got to replicate that effort on Sunday. If I’m Rallis I am blanketing JSN with double coverage EVERY single play. Eliminate him, period. Like let’s see him have a 2 catch game. If someone else beats them so be it.

And Darnold was way too comfortable in week 4. He rarely experienced pressure in that game…that’s a recipe for disaster. He’s too good and will pick us a part. They’ve got to dial up the the pressure, hopefully Walter Nolen will make a difference.

Agree strongly about the miscommunication. You have to be able to read defenses to anticipate route modifications.

3 call out DNP, although Johnson did practice yesterday.

CB Max Melton (Concussion) - DNP
LB Mack Wilson Sr. (Ribs) - DNP
CB Will Johnson (Back/Hip) - DNP

Good news folks! We'll find out who JB is in this offense written this game. I think our D can hold them.

I'm predicting a 13-6 loss. JB will be sacked 8 times and we'll have under 40 yards is rushing.

I'm probably wrong but I actually think we're going to win.

We hung with them the first time and we're actually playing better on both sides of the ball now than then. Maybe I'm just in a bromance with Nolen but with him and the CB's coming back the defense looks markedly better. Dallas has the 2nd most points in the NFL, they were averaging 40 PPG at home we shut them down. It wasn't a fluke it wasn't a bad game by Dak, our defense dominated that game.

My concerns are the punt game, they blocked one and were close 2 other times. And the run game but we're so much better on 3rd down the last 3 games with JB I feel like we're going to be able to stay in the game

Playing is Seattle is just different. That noise throws everything off.

True but I'm feeling like that's less of an issue with JB. We just seem so much calmer on offense. It could be he was clearly audibling to runs in the Dallas game which led to several good runs by DeMercado, hard to do that in Seattle.

But I just feel like as a team we're just much more calm on offense. Other than the right tackle position of course. That's my other concern that we just can't protect JB and unlike Kyler he won't be able to run for a first down to move the chains

He missed 2 audibles last game that resulted in sacks. The Mannings called out. That's what worries me. That and the OL not hearing it.
