Going from the Cowboys defense to Seattle’s defense is gonna be a crazy whiplash.
31st to 2nd. I didn't realize Indy has the 24th ranked defense too.

Worth a watch. Interesting stat in here.

Cards have played from behind for the 2nd lowest time in the league. Seahawks are the lowest.

If we don’t figure out the right side of the OL, Seattle DL is going to have their way! The good news, if our DL continues to improve, we can rattle Darnold. This game could turn into a defensive slugfest.

This is what I've been saying. Didn't have the exact number, but it felt like we were ahead almost the whole season. We also caused some of the time for two of the others, especially pack. It's just a crazy stat.

JB is a good experiment if nothing else for this stat.

I did not know we signed Pharaoh Brown to the PS. He's a good replacement for Tipp. Good blocking TE.

Apparently might be signed to the full roster this week now he's up on the scheme.
I hope so, I love Beechum's attitude, but he is so slow in space, he became a hinderance last game.

This figures to be a very bad matchup for the Cards unless they carry over their defendive strategy from the cowboy game. My main concern is blitz design. Darnold has been picking apart teams that do a bad job of disguising their blitzes. Sadly, the Cards would fit that description. The idea of just putting 5 guys on the DL to rush is a waste of effort. They need to use stunts with Nolen to collapse the pocket and give the edge rushes a chance to get to Darnold. Pressure will be essential to stay in this game. If they don’t generate it a rout is possible. On offense they need hot reads and other quick throws to slow the rush. They should play Demerc more often to give Brissett some time. The Cards receivers can give Seattle trouble if Brissett has time to get them the ball. They need Benson to play and have a solid game. Short passes to him would be nice, swing passes not just outlets. I loved that blocking scheme where the Cards pulled an outside blocker to cut down an A gap rusher. We need to see that again.

If they can't slow/limit JSN, they are fudged!

im not worried about our defense im worried about their's - and brissett - they know jacoby can't scramble - they don't need a spy so they'll have someone coming in hot and honestly brissett hasn't detected where those types of pressures can come from at times

And Indy’s CB1 and CB2 didn’t play vs JB… this game will be very telling if the passing game was a product of god awful pass defenses or if JB and this offense are truly hot

The funny thing is that it's not like Trey is the only option like it is with Kyler. The WR's are being fed too.

Zaven is an under appreciated player. Really improved. A quality Edge #3. Does a lot of good things outside of rushing that go unnoticed.

GB’s number 6 ranked defense wasn’t telling of anything?
Not really.. Dallas hung 40 on them and theyve played putrid offenses for their entire careers most part on browns, Carolina, bengals (Flaccos 1st game w team), Commanders (ya their offense has been very bad this year)…. If you want to give them credit for being good against Detroit Week 1 when all scoring is down - sure I’ll give you that.

If you take context into play, not sure how you see them being a defensive juggernaut based on that schedule? But I know how you hate that word - context. So we can pretend they’ve been phenomenal on Defense!
