Man this guy receives such little love for being one of the top 2-3 CF's in all of MLB...
To date, he leads centerfielders in the majors in:

- Batting Average: .317
- Hits: 164
- Runs: 94

He ranks 3rd in Stolen Bases - 33
He ranks 3rd in OPS - .861
He ranks 4th in On base % - .367

I don't have his defensive rankings, but my guess is that he would rank at in the top-tier there as well.
I think you can make a very strong argument that he is the team MVP this season - over Goldy.

Should be very, very interesting to see how LaRussa and Stewart deal with him from a contract perspective...

I love the guy... and it's not just because he's from Connecticut!
