AFC West standings: Broncos hand Chargers commanding lead in division

After opening the season with wins against each of their division rivals, the Los Angeles Chargers have a 3-0 record and a commanding lead in the AFC West going into Week 4.

The latest win for the Chargers was a last-second 23-20 victory over the Denver Broncos (1-2) on Sunday. Denver's now 1-2 in the conference and 0-1 in the division.

Elsewhere, the Las Vegas Raiders (1-2) were dominated by the Washington Commanders in a 41-24 blowout on Sunday. Las Vegas is heading into Week 4 with a 1-1 record in the conference and a 0-1 record in the division.

The Kansas City Chiefs (1-2) got their first win of the season with a 22-9 victory over the New York Giants on Sunday night. KC is 0-1 in the conference and 0-1 in the division through three games.

AFC West standings​

1. Los Angeles Chargers: 3-0
2. Las Vegas Raiders: 1-2
3. Denver Broncos: 1-2
4. Kansas City Chiefs 1-2

With five division games remaining, there's plenty of time for the Broncos to make up ground in the AFC West, but they sit in third place after three weeks of action.
