The Las Vegas Aces will aim to sweep their two preseason games as they take on the Phoenix Mercury at Michelob ULTRA Arena on Monday.
The Aces are coming off an easy 112-78 win over the Dallas Wings on Friday. Jackie Young had a huge outing, tallying a game-high 28 points on top of five rebounds, nine assists and three steals.
She got ample support from A'ja Wilson, who finished with 19 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals.
The Aces are on a mission to return to the top after relinquishing the throne to the New York Liberty last season, falling short of their quest for a three-peat. Las Vegas lost to New York in the semifinals, 3-1.

Before their game against the Mercury, the Aces announced that it would also be a special night for the 28-year-old Wilson.
The squad organized an event to promote the Nike A'One, Wilson's first-ever signature shoes, with numerous activities lined up for fans.
The Aces going all out for the three-time MVP should only inspire her even more for the upcoming season.
Nike announced the release of Wilson's A'One in February, stating that the design was meant to inspire young girls to play basketball and "channel A’ja’s encouragement through her footwear.”
It took two years to create, with Wilson sharing her input throughout the process.
“From the beginning, we designed the shoe to both accentuate my game and to provide young hoopers a tool to help them push their limits,” said Wilson.
Recently, in a candid moment, New York Knicks stars Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart called Wilson on FaceTime to show off their A'Ones. Of course, the Aces star was all for it.
