Team identity...we still need it. We have 1st and 2nd round picks all through the middle of our defense but our offense is mostly a group of patchwork older guys. we need to fix that.

Round 1.
Zion Johnson....OG....Boston College
Zion is a man among boys...freakishly strong, and that is exactly what is needed to block Aaron Donald every season. No other interior lineman in this draft has his strength...and he has the bonus of also being talented with some skills too.

Round 2.
Alec Pierce.......WR..... Cincinnati
Pierce is EXACTLY what we need. A big WR with speed who can play 2 outside right away and perhaps grow into the WR1 role in a few years. Great hands and body control....ran a limited route tree so will probably take some development in that area ... but should still be a day 1 producer at the next level.

Round 3.
Logan Hall.......DE......Houston
Hall is big and strong with great athletic ability. But he is raw when it comes to skills. He would be a great project for the edge because he is very good at defending the run right now...just need to juice up his pass rushing skills.
Hall has seen his stock rise quite a bit the past month or so...so he may not be there in the third...so......

Round 3...B
Dalvin Cook's little brother.....RB
if we cant get Hall in the third, punt on edge in the draft until next year...add a talented RB and make all three of our big additions on offense...Team Identity,...offensive coach,... dynamic young QB...top 3 WR...how about we focus on scoring points this year??

then in the sixth, grab 2 DT's and a kicker....then a couple DB's for camp in the 7th.

this draft is all about the first three picks...that gaping hole in the middle limits what we can do.

but if we were to get these three guys...all three would contribute right away. IMO Johnson and Pierce would have a huge impact on our offense.

So what do you guys think?? What is your "Happy Draft" this year?

I'm convinced James Cook is going to go far higher than mocks currently have him. I think he might be gone by our 2nd round pick.

I would be okay with this draft, especially getting Zion with the first pick

Good job putting it together

I bet Alec won’t be at our 2nd pick & Logan Hall especially won’t be at our 3rd pick. Logan actually might not even make it to our 2nd pick.
He is definitely growing in popularity.
So what would you think about Alec Peirce at 23...
Then Salyer from Georgia in the 2nd??

If we did that, I would call coach McD at Vegas and see if we could get Clelin ferrell....he is in a bad system with the raiders, playing DE when he should be playing OLB in a 3-4
He is great against the run...and could become a 7/8 sack guy in our system.
It ain't his fault mayock over drafted him.
But his usage is steady declining...
I would offer next year's 4th...then next year's 3rd.... with a final offer of this year's 3rd, and of course...Andy Isabella...since he has to be included in every trade proposal and the raiders are historically enamored with speed...they could pencil him in as backup to Renfrow, lol
