I like Chych, but he's not shown he can stay healthy. Very surprising to see this deal before seeing how he responds to his latest surgery.

I'm not as familiar with NHL contracts as say the NFL or NBA, but is this similar to say extending a WR coming off an ACL rehab?

I like him, but maybe have him play a few months??

He's been stellar this season. He's tied for 5th in Goals Scored by defensemen in the league, has 2 game winning goals, and is a gritty defender. He's only 21.

C makes sense to me. I like OEL, but he just doesn't exude leadership qualities that I can see. Granted, I'm not in the room, but after some of the pathetic efforts I've seen from the team this year, I'm comfortable speculating.
