On Wednesday afternoon, Oregon Ducks quarterback Dante Moore had the attention of both the college football and NFL draft worlds at the same time. He took the time to announce that he would be passing on the 2026 draft and instead returning to Eugene for one more year with the goal of winning a national championship.
It appears that former Colorado Buffaloes offensive tackle Jordan Seaton was paying attention.
Seaton, the No. 1 OT in the transfer portal, and a major target for the Ducks this offseason, posted to social media after the announcement, with some apparent sarcasm to fuel the Oregon fanbase.
"Wait Dante Moore Cameback?"
This is obviously of some interest for Seaton, who is searching for his next team and is rumored to be taking a visit to Eugene later this week. Now, with the Ducks boasting one of the top-ranked QBs in the nation next year, and potentially being ranked as the No. 1 team in the nation going into the 2026 season, you can bet that Seaton is more than interested.
You can also bet that he was well aware of Moore's decision well before he hit send on that tweet.
Whether Oregon gets Seaton into the fold is yet to be seen, but you can guarantee that Wednesday's news will have had a major part to play if the 6-foot-5, 330-pound OT ends up announcing his commitment to the Ducks at some point this offseason.
