John Mateer might go from the preseason Heisman watch to the bench. He looks terrible.
On one of them he got one of the dumbest unsportsmen penalties I've ever seen.
Yuck.
Oops!! Didn’t see that play. That is a really dumb and selfish play.xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media
Curious what position Monti views as top priority (assuming he's high on Beck).
Oregon’s Moore just took a nasty hit on a slide. Leaving on a stretcher.

This is the hit

He clearly meant to do it and was celebrating the injury immediately, he continues celebrating on the sideline even after he's ejected and there is an ambulance out. He's legit giddy.
Awful stuff. He deserves a long suspension and, if I was king of sports, his football career would be over. I have zero tolerance for guys who, without question, are trying to severely injure people.
I haven't seen him play, but the QB from Oklahoma St. has been getting a lot of hype around here. There was a national guy on our local radio station last week saying this guy was legit and his best QB prospect in college.I think you can argue Mensah has been the most impressive QB prospect so far this college season, but it's very early and they haven't played anyone.
Hopefully, they will have a better idea by the end of the year.I really doubt they view Beck as anything but a roll of the dice.
I think that is premature but Mestamaker has transitioned really well from Texas St to Ok StI haven't seen him play, but the QB from Oklahoma St. has been getting a lot of hype around here. Yep, I think on one hand, you can see why he and his people thought he should return. He hasn't looked NFL ready. And if he played better this year and got a Heisman or championship you would say that was smartThe kid that hit Moore should lose his scholarship based on his reaction alone.
Unfortunately for Moore, his injury only underlines his idiotic decision to return to school for the glory and partying (assumption on intentions) rather than become a top 5 pick. Bad career move.
The risk of returning was exponentially higher than the reward. Made no sense for him to return to school, unless he really really hated the Jets.Yep, I think on one hand, you can see why he and his people thought he should return. He hasn't looked NFL ready. But that came with a risk of playing worse or getting injured. And both have happened.
Maybe so. He is getting 5 million in NIL money this year. But he has now cost himself a lot more. He would've banked just over 35 million with the Jets. The risk of returning was exponentially higher than the reward. Made no sense for him to return to school, unless he really really hated the Jets.
I do. Compare what he would get in one season of NIL beside what he would have gotten as a top pick. I mean, I'd love to have a couple mill in my life, but not if I had to give up at least several times that to get it.Stout, you do know about NIL.
