It's been more than 20 years since an American man has won the U.S. Open, but Taylor Fritz may have this year's best chances at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. Fritz, who is currently ranked No. 4 in the world, faces No. 175 seed Jerome Kym of Switzerland tonight on the hard court in the men's third round in hopes of advancing to the final.
The Fritz vs. Kym match will air on ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes and will also stream on ESPN unlimited at approximately 8:30 p.m. ET, or whenever the court clears after the women's match between Aryna Sabalenka and Leylah Fernandez concludes.
