The top 250 prospects for the 2025 NFL Draft big board are now finalized!

These are my rankings based on film review, athletic potential and skill translatability to the next level. This is not a projection of draft order; that's what mock drafts are for.

1. Travis Hunter CB ColoradoAn easy No. 1, the best player in college football is also the best overall prospect. I prefer him at CB, where he could be the next great island corner.
2. Ashton Jeanty RB Boise StateDo-it-all running back with both a high floor and a high ceiling.
3. Abdul Carter EDGE Penn StateThe athletic potential pairs with the quick growth Carter demonstrated as he got more comfortable playing EDGE.
4. Malaki Starks S GeorgiaSmooth, smart and scrappy, Starks looks like exactly what the NFL wants in a modern safety.
5. Derrick Harmon DT OregonThe most improved prospect from 2023 to 2024, Harmon has the goods to keep growing into an interior monster at the next level.
6. Jihaad Campbell LB AlabamaOutstanding talent already, and most of the knocks on Campbell are more experience-related than actual negatives.
7. Armand Membou OL MissouriHigh-end right tackle with immediate starting capability on either side.
8. Jahdae Barron CB TexasImpressively versatile DB really thrived moving to outside CB, where his NFL future lies.
9. Donovan Jackson OL Ohio StateAlready the top guard prospect, his starring turn at left tackle offers even more potential.
10. Mason Graham DT MichiganVery active interior presence who can make those around him better.
11. Tyler Warren TE Penn StateFormer QB is a dynamic weapon with growth potential as a blocker.
12. Will Campbell OT LSUVery athletic tackle prospect who rarely gets beaten despite lacking length.
13. Shedeur Sanders QB ColoradoAccurate, anticipatory passer who wins from the pocket despite average physical tools.
14. Josh Simmons OT Ohio StateWould have been the top OL in the draft if not for a knee injury, that's the only real drawback.
15. Shemar Stewart DL Texas A&MMuch like Travon Walker, the bet is on elite physical traits that were somewhat stymied by poor usage in college.
16. Kenneth Grant DT MichiganLight-footed behemoth has impact starting potential at NT or 3T.
17. Colston Loveland TE MichiganProved he can be the focal point of an offense, a collegiate opportunity common amongst the top NFL TEs.
18. Emeka Egbuka WR Ohio StateMight not have the elite athletic traits, but Egbuka is a high-floor wideout with versatility and savvy.
19. Nick Emmanwori S South CarolinaPerhaps the greatest athlete to ever hit the NFL at his position, Emmanwori has shown he has football chops too.
20. Tyliek Williams DT Ohio StateBest run defender in the class, and there is room for development in the pass rush.
21. Walter Nolen DT Ole MissFun player to watch with considerable physical gifts and a growing understanding of how to use them.
22. Luther Burden WR MissouriExciteable YAC monster with high boom/bust potential.
23. Will Johnson CB MichiganPlaymaker extraordinaire but dogged by toe injury concerns and a subpar 2024 campaign.
24. Mike Green EDGE MarshallSpeed-to-power EDGE consistently proved he could win against the big boys.
25. Grey Zabel OL North Dakota StateBest center in the draft despite not playing there and coming from the FCS.
26. Matthew Golden WR TexasSpeedy outside receiver really grew his all-around game in 2024 and could outplay this ranking quickly.
27. Carson Schwesinger LB UCLAReminds me a whole lot of Jack Campbell, who emerged as a very good starter in 2nd season after being a surprise 1st-rounder. Schwesinger can do that, too.
28. Mykel Williams EDGE GeorgiaHigh-floor power DE with a lower pass rush ceiling than often advertised. Echoes of post-injury JaDeveon Clowney.
29. Jalon Walker EDGE GeorgiaHigh-ceiling pass rusher with a much lower floor than often advertised. Biggest boom/bust player in this class regardless of position.
30. Cam Ward QB Miami FLProlific volume passer with dramatic playmaking flair and impressive leadership skills but endemically iffy decision-making.
31. Omarion Hampton RB North CarolinaBig cut-and-go runner with impressive receiving skills.
32. Tetairoa McMillan WR ArizonaGreat size and hands with an impressive football IQ.
33. Aireontae Ersery OT MinnesotaPunishing power-oriented OT with good run-blocking range.
34. Azareye'h Thomas CB Florida StateOutside press-man CB with length and toughness but average speed.
35. Donovan Ezeiruaku EDGE Boston CollegeStand-up pass rusher with good power for his size and a great first step.
36. TreVeyon Henderson RB Ohio StateExciting slasher with vision, soft hands and a nose for the big play, but some durability concerns.
37. Jaxson Dart QB Ole MissAthletic rhythm passer with great tools from a simplistic offense he will need to transcend in the NFL.
38. James Pearce EDGE TennesseePhysical skills are readily evident but haven't always translated to production.
39. Maxwell Hairston CB KentuckySpeed, kinetic energy and ball skills in an undersized outside CB package.
40. Nic Scourton EDGE Texas A&MThe Purdue version is a top-20 talent, the Aggie version is not top-75. Which Scourton shows in the NFL?
41. Oluwafemi Oladejo EDGE UCLAHigh-upside pass rusher who is still learning after playing off-ball LB until 2024.
42. Jonah Savaiinaea IOL ArizonaWide-bodied college tackle whose best bet is playing guard in a gap/power scheme.
43. Tre Harris WR Ole MissWhen healthy, Harris has been a dynamic big target with impressive YAC ability.
44. Shavon Revel CB East CarolinaImpressive island corner coming off a serious knee injury will need to prove he can hang with better competition.
45. JT Tuimoloau EDGE Ohio StateGritty power-oriented EDGE who can take over at times when he remembers how to shed blocks.
46. Darius Alexander DL ToledoAthletically gifted interior pocket collapser needs some technical polish
47. Jayden Higgins WR Iowa StateBig and sure-handed outside receiver who isn't fun to tackle
