The 2025 NBA Draft is scheduled for June 25 and 26 at the Barclays Center, home of the Brooklyn Nets.

Here are some players the Suns brought in for pre-draft workouts.

Mixed feelings about Lendeborg dropping out of the draft. I liked him as a potential Suns pick, but as a Michigan fan, I'm also looking forward to him playing there next year. He could have been a real steal for the Suns at 29, assuming he lasted and they took him.

Adou Thiero, SF/PF, is another player to keep an eye on for the Suns.

we'll be looking at the injured - the underdeveloped - we'll be weighing character issues #bargainbin

How do Dunn and Oso fit those descriptions? The draft isn't free agency. Even in FA we didn't go after anyone with character issues or underdeveloped.

It looks like there are still 5 head coaching candidates for the Suns per Gambo:

Sean Sweeney, Jordan Ott, Johnnie Bryant and Chris Quinn have completed in-person interviews.

Dave Bliss is still coaching for the Thunder in the playoffs, so an in-person interview with him has yet to happen.

I'm intrigued by the Thunder assistant but I'd prefer someone be named before the finals starts, definitely before it ends, so I'm pulling for Quinn or Bryant.

It’s really difficult to find any info about what these candidate are good at. For Sweeney all I can find is a “good leader.” That’s great and all, but what else? Defense? Creative play design? On the fly strategy adjustments? Player development?

I found the linked article below persuasive about Johnnie Bryant, especially if the Suns keep Devin Booker.

Eh I don’t want to add another app to read it. What does it say is his strength?

I didn't need an app to open the article.

It talks about how Johnnie Bryant having a strong relationship with Donovan Mitchell, which has helped his growth.

So nothing specific about what he brings to the table as a coach? Okay, thanks.

Basheer Jihad. That is some name. I read more on the meaning of "jihad" and it actually refers to struggle in general, for what is good/right, and prevent what is bad/wrong. Knowledge is good.

That's an interesting list. Hopefully, one or more of those guys will be available when we pick, assuming we don't acquire extra picks in the meantime. I personally like Reynaud, but there are a few intriguing ones mentioned.

But I guarantee that if Jones was still running the draft, we would absolutely not be considering any of the bigs mentioned.

I like Raynaud out of Stanford. He has Donovan Clingan type potential. We'll need patience developing him but he could be a solid piece for the next 5-6 years in the middle.

That’s weird, I think most of these guys outside sorber are James jones guys. Skilled with limited athletic upside. Feel similar to Johnson as prospects.
