Any word if the Warriors are still looking to trade Kuminga?

There were stories they were going to play him now and try to build up his trade value which I think means nobody wants to trade for him now.

He actuall looked quite good again last night before he got hurt. He was going in for a layup just a fluke play stepped on Brandon Williams foot as he was jumping.

Williams looks really good BTW, feel good for the kid UCLA recruited him in HS went to Arizona, had all sorts of knee injury issues, retired etc. He's carved out a nice role in the NBA, he's so quick they kept getting Curry switched on him and he'd blow by for layups.
Said it all year that's what everyone does, last night it was Williams or Najee Marshall posing Steph up on switches that was a huge part of the Dallas gameplan. Steph had I think 38 but a really poor defensive game. Without Butler their defense is nowhere near as good.

Ayton thought it was a shot at the hoop.

So glad to be done with the Ayton frustration. Watching Williams slam those, for what feels like several times a game is good stuff.

Plus, watching Ayton fail, while taking the Lakers with him is fun to watch. Ayton has to be driving Lebron and Luka nuts.

redick too - he's doing everything he can not to go full monty on ayton - then it just gets worse - but it's ultimately inevitable right

Unless the Warriors receive a good trade offer, it might be best to keep Kuminga. Things have a way of changing.

The Warriors have nothing to prove. Curry likely has a few good years left in him.

Detroit is arguably the best team I've seen this year. I know they're young and there is usually a playoff curve where a team has to learn how to win in the playoffs but man they are good. If there's a team in the league that can unseat OKC it's Detroit. obviously the Spurs have beaten them several times but they have the same issue Detroit does lack of playoff experience.

Cunningham is an MVP candidate Duren is a double double machine, Ausar Thompson is a great defender, they are as athletic as any team in the league.

That's a finals I would love to watch Detroit and OKC

Are you referring to the team the Suns just blew out last night?

You should go to any Pistons forum to see how much their fans disagree with you after last night's game.

Yeah, that's odd. I think the Pistons are a weak #1 seed in the east. Especially compared to a team like OKC. They are nice and young, but watching the two games we played against them, it's hard to believe they are the best the east has to offer.

Their primary weakness is 3 point shooting but they're so athletic. Robinson is really the only knockdown 3 shooter they have but

Ironically after I made that post the Warriors bench with Spencer in and Curry out with a sore knee nearly overcame a 16 point deficit, got it to 4 but lost. Still really impressed with Detroit will be interesting to see if their lack of playoff experience hurts them later

They won't win every game but yes that Pistons team. They're loaded. They could probably use another shooter if they can get one by trade but they're still really good.

It will. They have pieces in place but I don't think they are anywhere near ready to challenge a team like OKC.

Once again, the West is significantly deeper and better than the East. Put Detroit in the West and they are probably mucking around in the 5 to 8 seed range.

Oh the West is clearly better I agree. I just think Detroit has a lot of pieces. The one team so far that OKC struggles with is the Spurs, obviously Detroit doesn't have Wemby but they have a very athletic 5 in Duren to counter Chet, and they have one of the few guys in the league with the size and athleticism to bother SGA, in Ausar Thompson. He was giving Steph fits last night before Steph went out with the knee. They also have Ron Holland a very young but good defender they can throw at SGA too.

I do think they should consider trying to acquire a shooter somewhere, maybe move Jaden Ivey or someone like that for a shooter
