They chose not to trade Kuzma or Porzingis at the deadline despite both being FA’s. They have some nice role players like Monti Morris, Deni Advija, Corey Kispert and Daniel Gafford that could be had. They’d probably take any contract to unload Beal.

I still think CP3 to the Lakers is not dead. I could see that would be one team CP3 would be willing to go to. Other teams with younger talent, I just can't see him agreeing to go to those teams, and he could always threaten retirement.

It depends. No one is going to be overly concerned if either combination is clearly your top 2 players. But throw in half a dozen other players that aren't too far below that combo, then yeah, I'd be concerned. For us, once we made the trade, we were sort of like that - two scary players and a bunch of self inflicted nightmares playing behind them.

Makes sense. If the Suns are now exploring waive options doesn't sound like there is a trade market for him. Ayton might be our only hope now to bring in enough new pieces.
