Stoops coached in the state of Florida once upon a time. He was Steve Spurrier's D C at U of Florida.

If Stoops came in and brought the Air Raid to the state of Florida with the in state player recruitment base. He could own it and the ACC in 2-3 years. Outside of Clemson the ACC is 2nd tier.

Seems Mike Leach wants no part of that job citing "athletic Dep't dysfunction and ineptitude". Couldn't agree more.

College coaches on the Hot Seat

    https://www.cbssports.com/college-f...io-among-college-football-coaches-heating-up/

Difficult to determine which job comes with the shortest HC leash. College or NFL.

Highliting that list ( in my opinion)

    1. Clay Helton USC

New AD, Urban Meyer waiting in the wings.

    2. Kevin Sumlin U of Arizona

Only his 2nd year but.... he may be the king of over rated HCs. U of Houston, Texas A & M, Arizona Wildcats. Luke warm success.

    3. Mark Dantonio Mich State

Too many player scandals with too little in the win column. Plays dinosaur ball. Never lives up tp preseason hype ( stupid preseason polls ).

    4. etc
