I am confused how David Peralta won a gold glove

Peralta adds some more hardware to his trophy case after leading NL left fielders with 10 defensive runs saved.

And that was in only 100 games. Even though the eye test of even D-backs fans didn't consider him to be the best
fielding LF.

As far as Walker at 1B, I expected that he would not win. There the eye test showed that he was not a smooth fielder
and far from the best.

But it was good to see the D-backs get team recognition, especially the way Torey moved fielders from position to
position every game.

But then, the ones who were awarded stayed at one position each. That should tell him something.

NATIONAL LEAGUE SILVER SLUGGER AWARDS

'Might as well stick it in this thread.

Zack Greinke was the only D-back to win a Silver Slugger award. Despite
being traded to the American League before the end of the season.

It is a shame for baseball that he was traded to the DH league, although
Zack got to be in the World Series.

BTW, did you know that his full name is Donald Zackary Greinke?

Don Greinke. Nah, he is a Zack. Unique! I'm happy for him.
