Where were you 35 years ago today?

0n 1/1/1987, I was in Pasadena with my uncle and his friends watching the ASU Sun Devils beat QB Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan Wolverines in the Rose Bowl.

We drove back the next day and I got home just in time to ride my bike to Sun Devil Stadium, buy a $10 ticket from a scalper, and go to the national championship game the first year it was moved to the 2nd of January. Got to see Penn St. defeat Miami.

I was at that game also with a bunch of Coronado High Alums. Wish I could remember were the picture of us doing a human pyramid is,it was shown on channel 12 during the leadup to the game. Great memories.
