    Somers Does it Again

I feel so sorry for you guys out there in Az. As far as NFL sports reporters are concerned you guys have the very worst in the entire world! I read several papers daily and nowhere do I find the outright animosity that the AZ writers spew about the Cardinals whenever they write anything at all...

Rebuttal to ESPN (Buying Drew's BS)

One side of the issue that no one seems to notice is that Drew R. isn't just trying to get money for TO and his other clients. He is trying to get a bigger slice of the pie for himself. Actually when you break it down it seems that his personal greed is the driving force. If TO gets an EXTENSION...

    Surprise Bust Teams?

I think that we are seeing a lot of personal bias involved with some of these replies. Unlike some I see the Seahawks as the cream of the NFC west division. They are talented and unlike the Cardinals they have more experience. I see the Cardinals as #2 this year to the 'Hawks but the future and...

I could play better if I had a helmet that fit.

June 1st. Who will be leaving?

Crimson, when Green 1st took the AZ job he had his Oline coach review film and make recommendations. The coach said that there was one maybe 2 linemen who could start on other teams, Big and maybe Kendall. I have to beleive that Green and his staff are good talent evaluators from what I have...

June 1st. Who will be leaving?

Where does everyone get the idea that Shelton has trade value? From the lack of interest by other teams apparently he doesn't. Shelton is not a very good football player,as a matter of fact he wouldn't start for many other teams in the NFL! IMO he is at best a backup. We really don't need him...

    Boldin To Report

If I had a possibly chronic knee problem and I had the opportunity for a GUARANTEED $8-10 mil bonus, I wouldn't walk I would run to sign that contract!

It's time for the Cards to sign Hakim

Az Hakim IS only a 4th receiver in ability, but he wants to be a #1. I don't think he would sign to be a kick returner. Maybe I am wrong, butI have never been impressed by the guy.

    What State Is Everyone From?

Born in Washington showed them the back of my diaper at the age of one  Went to elementary school inthe hot part of Az.[Yuma] loved it there though. Grew up in the bootheel of MO. (should have been part of Arkansas except for some politics in the 1800's.) By theway nice drawing of...

Josh Scobey showed his worth this last season

Initially I thought that Scobey was going to be terrible, but since he has been in AZ he has kind of won me over. Is he great? No way but he has shown me more than Anderson. He makes the team IMO.

    One Move Too Many

Harry you are a " Doubting Thomas" and as such I can see why you would question these moves. On the other hand , as a believer that the Cardinals are now trying to do whatever they can to put a winning team on the field, I have to believe that every move is carefully thought out as a part of...

    Aneaas Williams

I loved Aeneus' play with the Cardinals , but at this stage of his career he hasn't lost a step, he has lost several steps. The Rams are desperate for DB help and they aren't interested. What does that tell you?

    Renaldo Hill......Gone!

john h, why do you syart this crap? There has been no, none, nada, reports of a personality clash between Green and Hill. You always seem to take a sneaky shot at Green whenever you get the opportunity. :stupid:

John Clayton said on ESPN radio that the Shelton/Henry trade will happen

Matt Jones doesn't know the 1st thing about blocking ( as an old lineman I can tell you that you don't just become a good blocker, it takes years of hard work) and Denny has said that one of the things that he wants in a tight end is blocking for the running game. As a receiver, with the large...

Leonard Little, if he gets out of this one...

Little had the opportunity to prove his innocence. He refused both a breathalizer and later a blood or urine test. He refused. I'm not an attorney but I think that in MO. it is considered an admission of guilt to refuse to take a breathalizer after you have failed a field sobriety test. Little...

    Cardinal Hall of Fame

Jim Hart over 20,000 yds passing. HOF definately. The FB of those 70's teams- Jim Otis - rushed for over 1000 yds I think twice. 4 yds and a cloud of dust. I think his longest run his best year was like 12 yds.

    Cardinal Hall of Fame

Not many people remember that Pat Fisher - long time CB of the Washington Redskins - played his 1st 3-4 years as a Cardinal. That combination of Fisher and Wehrli were a pretty good CB combo. Maybe the best that I can remember.

    Cardinal Hall of Fame

You are right about jackie Smith. I met him when I was about 15 and I was wowed, He changed the concept of tight end in the NFL.

    Cardinal Hall of Fame

Hall of Fame . Harley Rider , not Hall of Shame :O .

    Cardinal Hall of Fame

Another one of my favorites, Terry Metcalf. Bob Young, best guard but not the most recognizable from the 70's.

    Cardinal Hall of Fame

Things are slow right now kind of like hot stove league time in baseball. There have been some great Cardinal players over the years. If the Cardinals had a Ring of Honor who would you nominate? Some that I think would be great candidates would be: John David Crow ( the best Cardinal running...

    Idea

I agree 40 year. I think sometimes GMs and teams get caught up in a poker type mentality. Just forget about getting the best of the other guy and get 'er done :O . Someone with the tecnical expertise send 40 yrs post to Rod and Denny.

    Just ENJOYIN' the ride...

Sorry Bird of War but the Cardinals don't have 50 years of ineptitude. Maybe the last 20 or so. But as a lifelong Cardinal fan I have to tell you that in the 60's and for most of the 70's the Cardinals were very competitive. During the 60's Jim Brown and the Browns kept us from several...

    Bidwills Amaze Me

PRE-SEASON game. Not home regular season game. This also gives the Cardinals a leg up on the fastest growing minority in the US.
