Yeah but we're paying TM huge bucks. So far, in my mind, he's like an Ellington only he's getting PAID.

LOL well done. I still remember Joe Buck going all crazy announcing that. Very well done.

Maybe, I'm kind of horny. He won't promise a reach around though.

Love what you started with: I'm the numbnuts who ended it. Well done. As I said previously, I was being lazy, and I'm still being lazy, because I don't believe Moss is even close to Cris Carter and frankly he isn't even close to WR's that are waiting to get into the hall. That being said...

Yes, I'm trolling by saying Cris Carter is a better player than Randy Moss. I'm totally trolling, trying to bait you into this argument. You're the numbnuts who started this discussion.

Should DJ be ranked so high in most fantasy rankings

I need to keep my eye more on Bell. I trust your judgment and others, but like I said I don't see it, and I have all the games as well as red zone and I just don't see it and wish I did. I keep looking, I have all year, I switch to their games but it's just not there for me. Zeke is a great...

Understood. I can't speak to that, I wasn't offended. All I can say is I prefer him to most broadcasters talking about personal bs more than football. He wasn't perfect by any means. That being said, I think our standards are very low. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk

Apologies for my laziness, I just think it's a stupid argument and not worth researching in any depth. Randy Moss isn't even close to Cris Carter. The difference between HOF and good is vast. It's a large difference, and I don't think you realize that. (Edit: and I don't see Randy Moss' name...

Right. Now you're just making yourself look ignorant. Comparing him to Cris Carter. I'm going to be lazy, because I don't take this argument seriously. Chris Carter: One of three players to record 120+ receptions in a season twice, 1994 and 1995. (Wes Welker, Antonio Brown) Most touchdown...

Kansas City is another example. Great D, average offense, but good special teams. If you control field position in the NFL you can win games. If you lose field position it makes it so difficult, almost impossible.

Are you really comparing Randy Moss to Cris Carter?

Granted, I'm old get off my lawn dude, but the NFL was better with that music, the old gridiron music, rather than the trash they play now. The commentary was better, the actual product on the field was better. I miss it. I'm only 47 and honestly I wish I could have seen the football even...

Pat Summerall, Paul Horning, and Ollie Matson: Joe Namath wins, complete game: Youtube has added many complete old games to their inventory. They even have the entire ice bowl with GB.

Spielman was better than most broadcasters. The reason it sounds so different is because broadcasters nowadays don't actually dissect plays. Go on youtube and look at some old games, the announcers regularly explained blocking technique, WR technique, and other intricacies of the game...

That's been a "tell" since BA got here. My wife can call out run or pass based on our formation. This should be noted in every fans mind.

Have to say, I've watched Pitt and I don't get the fascination with Bell. I keep hearing he's the best back in the league or top 5 but I don't see it. He's patient picking blocks and holes, but I don't see what the rest of you do. Obviously I'm wrong but I think he's way over-rated. Gurley...

Please don't take offense, I've been more wrong than right about players, I just like going back and reading old posts (and I didn't bump this one). Good stuff. Ya'll are really knowledgeable about players. Mean that.

We have female posters? (Kidding, but logically speaking, ladies have already been exposed to all kind of nefarious activities by men. Nothing we post is a surprise. Why they don't post as often is a mystery. We (men) have a tendency to go back and forth forever, never giving up an argument...

    What2Watch4: Cards at Fins

Your matchups are spot on and will decide this game in my opinion. Agree that DJ (RB) should get the better of his matchup, but Hump V Mario Williams and Wetzel V Suh should worry us fans. Mario Williams in particular worries me, he only has 1.5 sacks this year, but his experience compared to...

If it's any consolation, I do believe Amos Jones will be gone next year as special teams coach. Our ST's haven't been good under BA and Jones ever, and it was mildly acceptable at first, but they've gotten worse during BA's tenure. Now it's just a train-wreck. I know some people don't value...

Kickers are weird but our coaching staff have been weirder regarding special teams in general and Butler in particular. I've never in my life seen a team move...so...damn...slow addressing our long-snapper situation earlier in the year, our holder, and now Butler. You'd think it's the 1930's...
