For sure, I’d just rather add another impact player at #34 and not trade away any other picks. We are very likely to be picking top 5 again, and those QBs appear like much better prospects (Arch, Sellers, Carr, Sorsby, Sayin).
I’m not into the Simpson path. He’s undersized, has an average arm, and limited college experience. The pros are he’s a coaches son that processes the field well. So he’s basically Mac Jones. I’d rather wait until 2027.
I’m surprised there isn’t a thread on this. Wilkinson started all 17 games at RT for the Falcons last year. He was also #39 on The Athletics free agency tracker. Gives the Cards better optionality at #3.
The longer this drags out, the harder it is to fill out a quality staff. That’s basically why Gannon’s staff was all promotions are guys from college staffs. They’d need to be very confident Kubiak would accept if offered to delay this two more weeks.
I have hoped Mikey B would bring on a minority owner much like the Raiders did. Would bring an influx of cash to the franchise. But knowing what we do about Mike, his ego and tight grib on control would never allow it. So we’ll continue to be a mis-managed poor franchise.
He’s Matt Miller’s #1 overall prospect. Says he’s on par with Bijan and Gibbs.

If Moore comes out, QBs likely go 1-2. Would allow the cards to take the top non-QB. If he tests like a freak, would likely be Arvell Reese as it’s tough to take an RB (Love) or a safety (Downs). Bain doesn’t have a prototypical frame for the pick. Reese would be similar to a Travon Walker type...
It’s easy to want to “clean house” when things are bad. But what good Coach is taking over a team with zero roadmap at QB and a history of poor ownership/support? Our shopping aisle is another up and comer DC or the 4th or 5th choice offensive assistant of this coaching cycle.
The thing that irks me is the lack of investment in the offense this past offseason. Nothing added to the o-line and in what world is a healthy Zay Jones enough to compliment Marv. Just sat on $30m of cap after the defense was invested in.
It would be nice if the Bidwill’s would sell a minority stake in the franchise to infuse some cash into the operation. But that’s probably the farthest thing from Michael’s mind as he wants to cling to his family’s legacy.
