Looked up some highlights. Looks like a good player.

2026 NBA Free Agency and Trades

Detroit I think will crumble and I'm not sure Indiana and Boston will regain previous highs. Same with Cleveland I feel is trending in the wrong direction. My early take is NYK and then 76ers.

    Suns 2026-2027 Season Discussion

But is the Bridges we had the Bridges we need?

Shams: Suns trade for Miles Bridges

I agree. Hopefully Brooks can dial back on his scoring. As mentioned, he had to be aggressive at times last year without Booker and Green. I think Booker and Green should be 20+ and then Bridges and Brooks in high teens.

Shams: Suns trade for Miles Bridges

Green has a lot to prove this year. If Suns are a winning team and he is efficient 20+ ppg that's a start.

News from around the NBA 2026-2027

Just thinking from a used car perspective. Booker will give us a hefty return now. After a couple of years we won't get much. OKC is doing it this way and it works well for them. Do they have a destination issue? Say we get someone like Eason (the best brother) and a high draft pick, we can...

News from around the NBA 2026-2027

When Boober goes downhill we will regret not having our own draft picks. Very true what Raindog says. I support flipping him [Booker, not Raindog] for a mix of unprotected (gasp) first round picks and an actual quality player like a Kevin Johnson.

Poor Bronny. Hope he earns some playing time and has a nice season. Silly King Flop if it's true that he will live in NYC and helicopter to Philadelphia. Is it not posh enough in Philly for him or his wife? Boo!

News from around the NBA 2026-2027

Going from CP3, Booker, Bridges, whoever, Ayton to Booker, Durant, Beal, and to the present roster while trading away almost all our future assets. Ish should play manager mode in NBA video games before doing it in real life.

Miles Bridges meets the press today. 07/22/26

I'm not 100% here because they're still trading away future lottery balls for players that are underwhelming (when it comes to wins). Seems like more of the same. But the drafting seems better. And as mentioned, they addressed an obvious weakness. I'm optimistic. Life is too short.

Shams: Suns trade for Miles Bridges

Without Booker (or old man Devin) how good are we in 2033? I think we'll regret doing that ish trade. Allright, Durant gamble failed. Chalk that up as a rookie mistake for a new nitwit owner. Keep trading away future first round picks when you're NOT EVEN CLOSE to winning a championship. I don't...

Miles Bridges meets the press today. 07/22/26

Claude is not following the news. --- Updated outlook: 2027: No own pick (to Houston); incoming pick still held (worst of Cleveland/Minnesota/Utah) 2028: Own pick, Brooklyn/Washington can swap 2029: No own pick (to Houston); but now hold an incoming first — worst of...

2028 can be something since Washington and Brooklyn tend to stink it up.

Miles Bridges meets the press today. 07/22/26

How many first round picks have we traded away? I need to check with Claude. --- 2027: No own pick (to Houston); do have an incoming pick (worst of Cleveland/Minnesota/Utah) 2028: Own pick, but Brooklyn/Washington can swap for the worse one 2029: No own pick (to Houston) 2030: Own pick, but...

2026 NBA Free Agency and Trades

Whut. Are trades made and contracts signed? Does not the world stand still while LeBron makes up his mind?

Miles Bridges meets the press today. 07/22/26

Gregory or whoever better get his ish together. Can't keep on handing out unprotected first round picks. Try haggling or play hardball. At least they addressed lack of size and they got out of some financial limitations so it is not all bad. I am looking forward to the day when we have a lottery...

Miles Bridges meets the press today. 07/22/26

    But we got one back as well, didn't we? From nba.com: Suns receive: - Miles Bridges - 2029 first-round pick - 2027 second-round pick Hornets receive: - Grayson Allen - Royce O’Neale - 2033 first-round pick

News from around the NBA 2026-2027

Trae Young can score. This much is true. He's quick, got handles and likes to shoot. He's smart enough to keep hoisting from the outside, but I thought it was because of screens and space, not intellect, but maybe I'm just one of the 95%, not like boise.

    Suns sign Heywood Highsmith

Brooks was banging down low in spurts. His turn around was decent. Not full time PF I would say.

    Suns sign Heywood Highsmith

I also think Peat will see minutes even without injuries to frontcourt players. On topic, I like what I've seen of Highsmith. I think he plays smaller than Jae Crowder, and I think he can cover most SGs. Will be interesting to see. Everyone should compete for playing time. Many players have a...

2026 NBA Free Agency and Trades

Watched some highlights of Joan Beringer. Looks like a rim runner. Can he create for himself? Their PG was getting old so perhaps it is a wise move to upgrade with Lamelo and open up time for Beringer at the same time, without increasing payroll.
