    Ok. So the durations for Early Bird and Full Bird are the same. We would have to convince him to sign another one-year deal and then sign him to the max we could under the early Bird later. I think that is a stretch. Some team will pay him.

    What a horrible idea. This team needs to play the best possible basketball it can coming into the playoffs. Get the chemistry going. Win as many games as possible. Let the chips fall where they fall. Don't screw around with not trying hard, which is losing games on purpose.

    Well. If any owner can find a way to keep Bol long-term, it's Ishbia. I do think we need to keep Bol. His physical makeup and skill set give him the potential to be a special player--the type of player we will not be able to draft in the next few years.

    Yes. Plays at full speed, good ball-handler and passer. Aggressive defender. He would be a good leader for when the bench is in. I think he could stabilize a bench crew.

    I don't think so. Nurk is a better fit for this team all around. His passing is better. His defensive presence is much more physical. He does not frustrate his teammates like DA. I did not expect that.

    Bol's defense is a bit of an enigma. He can bother a lot of shots but he gets pushed around. It looks like JJ is going with a larger role for Bol in the second half of the season. KD looks like a father/older brother figure for him. He is the best young prospect we have.

    We need someone to cut turnovers and keep the team settled in the 4th quarter. Jones would run point for the backups, and when Book is really shooting well, he could bring the ball up and initiate the offense so Book can score.

    The only player I see out there that might get traded that could make a difference is Tyus Jones. We would have to give up at least four players to get him.
